This project focused on evaluating how light and dark modes are implemented across popular Android and iOS applications. By analyzing large-scale patterns in alternative color mode behavior, the work identified inconsistencies that affected usability, accessibility, and user trust. Findings from this analysis informed product-level recommendations and guidelines aimed at improving consistency, predictability, and accessibility in mobile app color mode implementations.
