Understanding User Experiences with ACMs Qualitative Study on Mobile Interface Accessibility

First-of-its-kind qualitative research investigating how people with and without vision impairments experience Alternative Color Modes in mobile applications. Through interviews with 29 participants, this study revealed critical accessibility barriers, harmful consequences of poor implementation, and user-developed coping strategies that informed evidence-based recommendations for the HCI community.
